Here's why you think you won't make it

You’re born into a system. That part is not your fault. School, work, rules, money, some of them great some of them pretty damn stupid. But you've got to follow or you'll be punished by the system. Over time you get institutionalised. You become part of that system.

But some days you look up and realize you’re stuck in something. You don’t like it. It feels rigid, suffocating. You escape by doing dumb things that actually harm your body and mind even more. You're in a broken car that makes weird noises. Instead of fixing the car you increase the volume of the music.

You think the car can't be fixed anyway.

Things that I went through in life:

  • The belief that nicotine is just part of my life and I can't exist without it.
  • The idea that I just wasn’t good at school.
  • That I had to stay in one place forever.
  • That I’d always be broke.
  • That I’d always be alone.

None of it was objectively true. But I believed it.  Until I stopped believing in this crap.

How do you get out?

You need to create yourself new thoughts. Follow a new algorithm until it becomes the new you. Don't be occupied with the stuff that limits you.

You're not stuck or broken. You just forgot you were free all along.
